J.J. BCN Internacional, S.A. was founded in 1998 in Cardedeu, Catalonia, with the aim of manufacturing and marketing electric quarter-turn actuators. Its forerunner, DITEICO S.L., founded by the same Chaves brothers, was a pioneer in actuator design and contributes more than 30 years of experience in valve automation, making the internationally registered J+J trademark one of the leaders in the electrical automation of quarter-turn valves.

Today the company's actuators are distributed in more than 66 countries through its own sales offices and official distributors. Its quality system encompasses all phases from design and material selection through production to packaging and customer service, and the company is certified to ISO 9001:2015. Product coverage also includes pneumatic actuators and position signalling boxes for complete valve automation.
