Metalfar S.p.A.

Metalfar S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of forged steel flanges, based in Cesana Brianza in the province of Lecco, some thirty miles north of Milan, whose history began more than half a century ago in 1961. The company is a leader in flange production, well known and appreciated worldwide, with products used across the globe in the construction of oil and gas pipelines and water treatment plants from the Americas to Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe.

Its premises extend over 600,000 square feet, of which around 300,000 are covered, producing carbon, alloy and stainless steel material in all grades and standards with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons. Beyond flanges, Metalfar manufactures forged steel fittings, forged valves and custom forged pieces to customer drawings, with all die and tooling equipment made in-house. Serving oil and gas, nuclear, automotive, defence and water markets, the company holds ISO 19443 certification for the nuclear supply chain and maintains high raw material stocks for fast, flexible deliveries.
