Air Torque

Air Torque S.p.A., founded in 1967 and based in Passirano in the province of Brescia, Italy, is one of Europe's dedicated valve actuation specialists — a company that builds nothing but actuators for quarter-turn valves. Its core products are rack-and-pinion pneumatic actuators in double-acting and spring-return versions, covering torques from small instrument valves up to large pipeline classes, in aluminum and stainless steel bodies with ATEX-rated variants for explosive atmospheres. The FT and PT series are ISO 5211-compatible, Namur-designed for direct mounting of solenoid valves and positioners, and are widely adopted by valve OEMs and packagers who mount them onto ball, butterfly and plug valves. Air Torque also produces scotch-yoke actuators for high-torque applications, and its aftermarket support includes fail-safe function checks and corrosion-resistant coatings for offshore duty.
