ARAKO a.s. is a Czech manufacturer of industrial valves based in Opava, internationally recognized as a supplier of valves for nuclear and thermal power plants. With roots reaching back to nineteenth-century sewing machine production, the company began manufacturing valves in 1953 and today celebrates 70 years on the market under the ARAKO brand.

Its production program covers valves for nuclear power engineering, gate valves, low-pressure and high-pressure valves, check valves, swing check valves, ball cocks, strainers, drain and vent valves and special valves. ARAKO also provides service and repair of industrial valves, production cooperation and in-house valve development, operating an integrated management system with published certificates. References include high-pressure forged S43 gate valves DN 250/200 PN 400 with bypass supplied to an Austrian customer, and ARAKO valves are integral to piping systems in industrial plants and power stations worldwide.
