Descote

Descote is a French manufacturer of advanced bellows sealed valves for hazardous applications, with 50 years of experience in producing high-integrity valves for the chemical, agrochemical, petrochemical and nuclear industries. From its site in Feyzin, the company addresses severe processes involving halogens and dangerous media such as chlor-alkali, isocyanates, refrigerants, HF-alkylation, UF6, VCM, EO, HCN and ammonia.

Metal bellows welded to the stem and bonnet create a continuous metallic barrier between the process fluid and the atmosphere, achieving zero emissions. The range includes manual and actuated shut-off and control bellows sealed globe valves for corrosive, inflammable, pyrophoric and noxious media, including category M fluids per ASME B31.3. Descote valves comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/UE, are SIL 3 capability certified and Zero Fugitive Emissions accredited to EN ISO 15848-1, and are approved by EuroChlor for liquid chlorine service, using materials from high purity carbon steels to duplex alloys, Monel, Inconel and Hastelloy.
