Hinomoto Ben

Hinomoto Ben Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Japanese marine valve manufacturer founded in September 1943 and based in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture. For more than 70 years the company has specialized in the production of marine cast iron valves and marine ductile cast iron valves, earning the deep trust of the shipbuilding industry.

Its products are certified under the Japanese Industrial Standards JIS program, covering JIS F 7425 marine cast iron valves and JIS F 7505 marine spheroidal graphite cast iron valves. Hinomoto Ben supplies leading Japanese shipbuilders including Japan Marine United, Imabari Shipbuilding, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Namura Shipbuilding, among many others. The company is active in the Japan Valve Manufacturers' Association, the Kansai Marine Valve Industry Association and the Shiga Valve Cooperative Association.
