Holmbury Ltd

Holmbury Ltd is an independent British manufacturer of hydraulic quick release couplings, valves and hydraulic components, established in 1982 in Tonbridge, United Kingdom by David French, who pioneered the first flat faced couplings on the market. The original 1984 flat face coupling design was adopted as the benchmark for ISO 16028 when the International Standards Organization convened to define specifications for this coupling type.

Today the company ships around 3 million parts globally each year. Its range includes flat face couplings, ball valves, rotary couplings, pressure washer couplings, multi-couplings, agricultural couplings, screw-to-connect couplings, speciality valves, poppet and ball type couplings, throttle valves and DIN 3015 clamps. Holmbury is certified to ISO 9001:2015, operates a North American facility in Eastlake, Ohio, opened in 2003, and a European warehouse in the Netherlands since 2021, and is a member of the BFPA, NFPA, NAHAD and CEA industry associations.
