Hubei Hongcheng

Hubei Hongcheng General Machinery Co., Ltd. (HBHC), founded in March 1956 in Jingzhou, Hubei Province, is China's largest manufacturing base for large and heavy-duty valves and fluid control machinery, focused on the "big, high and special" valve segment for hydropower, thermal power, nuclear power and water conservancy.

The company mass-produces butterfly valves up to 10 meters in diameter and ball valves up to 4 meters, with pressure ratings from 0.6 to 13 MPa. Its hydropower line covers turbine inlet ball valves and butterfly valves, flow regulating valves and penstock protection valves; thermal and nuclear products include electric vacuum butterfly valves for air-cooling islands and slow-closing hydraulic check butterfly valves with national patents; water works products include network ball, butterfly and gate valves, check valves and float-type air release valves. HBHC valves operate in more than 470 hydropower stations, 210 thermal plants and 9 nuclear plants globally, exported to over 40 countries, and the company holds National High-Tech Enterprise and "Little Giant" status with 172 technical staff including 80 with doctorate, master's or senior titles.
