Instrumentation Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is India's specialist manufacturer of rotameters and flow instrumentation, established in 1964 in Hyderabad with technology purchased from Brooks Instrument Division of Emerson Electric Co., USA. Its engineers were trained at the Brooks plants in the United States and Holland, the company became a private limited entity in 1973, and a twenty-five-year technical collaboration with Brooks remains the foundation of its design and manufacturing capability.

Manufacturing at plants in Balanagar and IDA Jeedimetla, the company produces glass-tube and metal-tube variable area flowmeters, thermal mass flow controllers and meters, electromagnetic flow meters, turbine meters, positive displacement meters, sight-flow indicators, flow alarms and switches, and totalizers, batch controllers and quantity valves for terminal automation. ISO 9001:2015 certified with a DSIR-recognized R&D unit and 10,000 PSI test capability, it serves nuclear and atomic energy, oil and gas, heavy engineering and defence, fertilizers, pharmaceutical and water sectors, including customers such as NPCIL and BHEL.
