Kida Valve Ball

Kida Valve Ball Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of valve balls and spherical components, founded in 1964 and headquartered in Higashi-Osaka with a forging plant in Iga, Mie Prefecture. A top-share maker of valve balls in Japan, the company manufactures many of the balls incorporated in domestic ball valves supplied by major valve manufacturers, with stainless steel valve balls used in virtually every industry. Capitalized at 45 million yen with about 60 employees, it also produces hot die forged products.

Kida Valve Ball possesses world-class technology for machining difficult-to-cut materials into perfect spheres, including stainless steel, titanium, Hastelloy, nickel alloy spray coating and tungsten carbide spray coating, and actively accepts prototypes, small lots and single-item orders. Its spherical components also serve medical applications such as artificial hip joints. The company has achieved 100 percent effective renewable electricity usage, SBT certification for SMEs, recognition as a Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization and operates with waste reduction and solar power generation on site.
