KNAPP Connectors GmbH

KNAPP Connectors GmbH is an Austrian specialist in innovative, invisible connector systems for wood construction, founded 40 years ago by the Austrian inventor Friedrich Knapp. Starting with joining systems for furniture, the company today serves stair builders, solid wood and construction applications, with all systems manufactured in Austria and Germany to the highest technical standards.

The product range includes the self-tightening RICON S connector for engineered timber from 100 mm wood width and the MEGANT heavy-duty connector, alongside solutions for post-and-beam construction, timber-glass facades, doors, windows, staircases, terrace connectors and screws. KNAPP connectors are recognised for being invisible, self-tightening and removable, supporting circular-economy reuse and waste reduction. The company provides planning services, CAD support, test reports, design tools and a 48-hour shipping service, with contact points in Austria, Germany, France, America and Switzerland.
