Leader Valves Limited is one of India's leading integrated valve manufacturers, with roots going back to 1945 when P. N. Beri founded Shakti Engineering, formally organized as Leader Engineering Works in 1950. Today the company employs around 1,500 people and produces valves across the full industrial spectrum.

Its catalog spans ball valves, gate and sluice valves, globe valves, check valves, butterfly valves, pressure reducing and balancing valves, strainers, needle valves, plug valves, air release, float and foot valves, cocks, moisture separators and fire hydrant valves. Products are offered in gun metal, bronze, brass, cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, stainless steel and forged steel, manufactured to API, ASME, BS, DIN, EN and Indian standards with pressure classes from PN6 up to Class 2500.
