Makimura Manufacturing

Makimura Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a Japanese large-bore valve maker founded in July 1939 and incorporated in 1952, based in Toyosato-cho, Shiga Prefecture. The company manufactures industrial valves for steel, gas and oil plants, waterworks and sewage treatment valves, dam and hydroelectric power valves, chemical plant and high pressure valves, and automated valves with electric, hydraulic and pneumatic operation, with particular strength in medium and large diameter valves.

Every valve passes through an in-house process chain covering CAD drawing by design engineers, high-precision machining at the micron level, careful assembly after deburring and cleaning, hydraulic pressure testing and non-destructive inspection, and heat-resistant or heavy anti-corrosion coating at the own factory. Registered as a Japan Water Works Association inspection factory (No. R-47), Makimura supplies major city water bureaus nationwide, steel structure and gate manufacturers, engineering companies and trading firms.
