Peterson Equipment (Pete's Plug)

Peterson Equipment Co., Inc. is the home of the Pete's Plug, the widely used pressure and temperature test plug for the natural gas and HVAC industries. Established in 1969 by Charles Pete D. Peterson Jr., the family owned and operated company builds on an invention first conceived in 1965 to help utility personnel take quick pressure readings, with production famously beginning in the founder's garage.

Proudly made in the USA for more than 57 years, the product line features plugs with quarter inch and half inch NPT brass housings, self-closing valves for rapid sealing and compatibility with pressure needles and temperature probes. Customers order through a network of sales representatives who provide product guidance, spec sheets and technical support for accurate system testing and long-term reliability.
