Pomona Pumps is an Australian pump manufacturer based in Melbourne whose range was created in 1942 to meet the demands of the rapidly expanding agricultural industry. Because the early pumps could be readily applied to any installation, whether boreholes, rivers, dams or streams, they achieved immediate success, and the range was later extended with special pumps for secondary industry, including chemical pumps, fire pumps, gaso-fuel pumps and booster pumps, all designed and constructed as required by the application.
