SEGAULT

SEGAULT is a French valve manufacturer located in Mennecy, near Paris, that has been designing and manufacturing valves for extreme service conditions since 1921. The company serves the nuclear and petrochemical fields as well as aeronautical test benches, supplying valves used in the reactor buildings of one quarter of the world nuclear power plants and in the nuclear steam supply systems of all French nuclear submarines and the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, including valves operating at 823 degrees C on aeronautical test benches.

Its product portfolio comprises globe valves, check valves, safety relief valves, solenoid valves, ball valves, instrumentation valves and manifolds, and parallel slide gate valves. SEGAULT holds ISO 9001 certification together with modules H and H1 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/CE and of the Nuclear Pressure Equipment Directive (ESPN). Around 20 percent of its staff are engineers, supported by 3D CAD, mechanical, thermal and vibration simulation, fluid simulation, and CAM-linked CNC machining, with engineering studies integrating valves into their operating environment.
