Terada Pump

Terada Pump (TERADA PUMP MFG. CO., LTD.) is a Japanese pump manufacturer headquartered in Yamatotakada, Nara Prefecture, serving industrial, agricultural and household markets. In 1950 the company became the first in Japan to put a self-priming pump into practical use under the name Serpla Pump, a design that remains in service across industrial equipment and machinery applications today.

The product range includes cast iron, stainless steel and resin land pumps, submersible pumps, engine pumps, V-belt driven pumps and special-purpose models for flood and disaster response, wells, agriculture, fisheries, civil engineering, septic tanks, kitchen drainage, industrial and chemical plants, cooling towers and high-pressure duty. The company has also developed large engine pumps for municipalities and private enterprises, and beyond sales it provides maintenance, machining, installation, repair and inspection services supported by its long-established network.
