Valbia S.r.l., founded in 1991 and based in Lumezzane in Italy's Brescia province, is the electric actuation company of the Bonomi Group — the same family-owned industrial group that owns OMAL and a constellation of valve and fittings brands. Valbia specializes exclusively in quarter-turn electric actuators for ball, butterfly and plug valves: the GB series in double clutch design for on-off duty, the GBY and GE ranges for modulating control with integrated positioner electronics, and stainless steel (INOX) executions for food, pharmaceutical, marine and corrosive chemical environments where painted aluminum is unacceptable. Actuators are ISO 5211 and Namur compliant, offer torque outputs from a few tens to several thousand newton-meters, and are available with ATEX-rated versions for hazardous areas. Being part of the Bonomi ecosystem allows Valbia to deliver factory-matched valve-actuator assemblies with OMAL valves, a significant convenience for packagers. The company exports through more than fifty countries, and its combination of Italian manufacturing, stainless specialization and family-group stability has made it a favored electric actuation source for hygienic and water industries in Europe.
