Valmet / Neles

Valmet is a Finnish technology and automation company serving the pulp, paper and energy industries, with an automation and flow control portfolio that includes the Neles valve business acquired from Fortum in 2022. The company develops and supplies process technologies, automation systems and lifecycle services for board and paper production, tissue, pulp and energy plants.

The flow control line inherited from Neles covers quarter-turn ball, butterfly and segment valves, linear control valves, on-off and emergency shutdown valves, plus digital positioners, controllers and valve monitoring for predictive maintenance. These products serve pulp and paper mills, refineries, chemical plants, LNG and gas processing, and power generation. Valmet operates as a publicly listed company with global manufacturing, sales and service networks supporting customers in dozens of countries.
