Vijay Pumps Private Limited is an Indian manufacturer and one of the pioneers in vacuum technology, established in 1977 and supplying government, semi government, public and private sector customers for over three decades. Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with works at the GIDC estate in Vapi, Gujarat, the company produces air cooled vacuum pumps of the VJI series, oil sealed rotary pumps of the VJ series and gear pumps of the VG series, alongside high vacuum pumps, water ring vacuum pumps, chemical process pumps, dry vacuum pumps and complete vacuum systems.

Applications span agriculture, breweries, cement, ceramics, chemicals, coal mines, cosmetics, dairy, electrical, food, metallurgy, paper, petroleum and petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics, railways, refineries, rubber, semiconductors, sugar, textiles and thermal and hydro power plants. Each product undergoes quality assurance procedures and performance testing to BS 1571 part 2 and Pneurop testing standards, with buyer or agency inspection possible at the works, and products are exported against strict international quality control procedures.
